Me At The End Of The Day Today

There is so much going through my mind at any given moment these days. Then there are the moments when my brain just shuts off randomly, mid-sentence or mid-thought. This whole having a baby thing is really starting to set in.

It's something woman have been doing for how many tens of thousands of years? It's obviously something my body can handle, so I shouldn't freak out about it. Especially only 10 weeks in. This pregnancy has been smooth so far (*knock on wood*)~ no nausea, throwing up, or crying, just a lot of being tired and a not super awesome feeling tummy.

Challenges are a head and of course it'll be a bumpy ride, but that's how it goes. I'm not going to succumb to the "oh poor me, I'm pregnant, wahhhh" thing. I refuse. As my dad says, "tape it and go". That's been my mindset so far, and how I plan on continuing from here.

When my mind is a little more ready to piece words together better, I will post again about my thoughts on pregnancy and birth. As it stands now, I'm going to gtfo of work and head home to Aaron and Rinoa and some Hawaiian pizza.

P.S. Thank you to Gina who inspired me today to JUST WRITE. ♥

Being a first time mom, there's always several different thoughts and feelings going through your mind. It's exciting, scary, humbling, emotional, uncertain and awe-inspiring all at once.
What I can tell you though is that this whole experience WILL change your life and allow you to see things differently and appreciate the beauty of life a little more. You will learn things about yourself that you wouldn't have otherwise and priorities will change.
Giving birth (although a worrisome thought) is the most AMAZING thing to experience. It really is!! I wish you the very best, a happy pregnancy, a safe delivery (when it comes time) and a healthy baby! :)
Until then, ENJOY your pregnancy! I'm sure once you get your little baby belly, it will be the cutest! :D

I don't think I said this yet, but CONGRATS ON HAVING A BABY! Woot!

I also really love "tape it and go". I'm going to have to start saying that.

Congrats again. You're going to be awesome at this whole mama thing.
